In this role, you will:
  • Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
  • Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
  • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
  • Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
  • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Required Qualifications, International:
  • Experience in Software Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Analyze, design, develop API services in Java/python programming language for web applications
  • 12+ years of experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring MVC, SpringUI, ORM (Hibernate, Spring JDBC, JPA), JDBC, SpringBoot, Messaging Services (Kafka, JMS), AngularJS/jQuery/ExtJS/ReactJS
  • Should have technical leadership skills to drive work stream from technical aspects besides individual contribution
  • 8 + years of JavaScript Frameworks experience (jQuery, Ext JS, Kendo UI and/or Angular JS)
  • 8+ years of Java experience
  • 7 + years of Java Web Services experience
  • 5+ years of JMS (Java Message Service) experience
  • 2+ years of development experience with languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or R
  • 7+ years of experience with databases such as Oracle, DB2, SQL server, or Teradata
  • 2+years of Mongo DB experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Big Data or Hadoop tools such as Spark, Hive, Kafka and Map
  • 2+ years of Apache Spark design and development experience using Scala, Java, Python or Data Frames with Resilient Distributed Datasets (RDDs)
  • 8+ years of experience in REST web services development
  • Design and implementation of low latency and high availability application
  • Writing reusable, testable and efficient code. Strong unit test and debugging skills
  • Good knowledge of user authentication and authorization between systems, servers and environments
  • Good banking domain skills and depth knowledge in risk domain
  • Experience in source control using Git (GIT code management), Jira
  • T-shape developer
  • Excellent communication skills, able to do multitask and have a great team spirit
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (CS/Math/Electronics/Electricals) from top universities like IIT, NIT and other reputed institutes
  • Should be able to take ownership and accountability
  • Should have good leadership skills to help other team
